The prophet Isaiah reminds us of a great truth about the Counselor in Isaiah 12:2: “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, is my strength, and my song; He has become my salvation.”
The One whose name is Counselor asks of us this important question: “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution of famine or nakedness or danger or sword? … No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height or depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us form the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39)
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you: I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10).
IF you will go to the Counselor He will tel you: “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” (Isaiah 65:24)
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)
